will a kitten fill my heart with love when I am alone?

I am overwhelmed today
had to step out of the shower
my heart was hot

which one?

i have an idea that an editor should pick one.
but rules were made and meaning was agreed,
something much more importance than horses and grass
things and ideas do not have meaning unless you agree.
even then it is only a pact. an idea.

no on has lived in the past
no one will live in the future
the present is the only form of life
it is a state of existence
which is indestructible

all has been said
unless words change meaning
and meaning their words.

Taproots cannot grow in compacted
soils and shallow water surfaces …
in the anatomy of standing this might help.

Am I floating at surface of an unsound water table?

throughout prehistoric time, man's quest for fitness has been driven by a desire to survive through hunting and gathering. Today, though no longer driven by subsistence requirements, fitness remains paramount.

Sometimes I feel one way when I would rather feel another. But they say to only be where you are and let is pass over you. I guess they are both one of the same in their own absence of activity.

It is something to have wept as we have wept,
It is something to have done as we have done,
It is something to have watched when all men slept,
And seen the stars which never see the sun.

It is something to have smelt the mystic rose,
Although it break and leave the thorny rods,
It is something to have hungered once as those
Must hunger who have ate the bread of gods.

To have seen you and your unforgotten face,
Brave as a blast of trumpets for the fray,
Pure as white lilies in a watery space,
It were something, though you went from me today.

To have known the things that from the weak are furled,
Perilous ancient passions, strange and high;
It is something to be wiser than the world,
It is something to be older than the sky.

In a time of sceptic moths and cynic rusts,
And fattened lives that of their sweetness tire
In a world of flying loves and fading lusts,
It is something to be sure of a desire.

Lo, blessed are our ears for they have heard;
Yea, blessed are our eyes for they have seen:
Let the thunder break on man and beast and bird
And the lightning. It is something to have been.

Childhood things

hallways light on and my door ajar...spiders kept awake.
Owls I wished for in goegraphy like the sparrows.
My fairy dream, manatees are the sailor's mermaids.
Daniel, my youths husband, please I don't like beetles.

Childhood things of fear and love.

my bathroom window. when i was a child.

Just once I knew what life was for.
In Boston, quite suddenly, I understood;
walked there along the Charles River,
watched the lights copying themselves,
all neoned and strobe-hearted, opening
their mouths as wide as opera singers;
counted the stars, my little campaigners,
my scar daisies, and knew that I walked my love
on the night green side of it and cried
my heart to the eastbound cars and cried
my heart to the westbound cars and took
my truth across a small humped bridge
and hurried my truth, the charm of it, home
and hoarded these constants into morning
only to find them gone.

Sexton

I have never been afraid of the ocean.

This is how I would like to live.

It is where I would like to die.
